Waves in Complex Media Research Group

Professor Ying Wu leads the so-called WCM research group, which stands for

Waves in Complex Media Research Group

Our group is dedicated to the multidisciplinary areas that are related to wave, from mathematics to material sciences, from theory to simulation, from modeling to algorithms.   We focus on the theoretical exploration and numerical simulation of classical wave propagation in complex systems, such as periodic structures and random media.  The main research interests are wave functional materials, time reversal, homogenization of heterogeneous media, numerical solutions to wave equation, fast algorithms, etc.

We welcome highly motivated graduate students and experienced postdoctoral researchers to join our group.  We are also interested in collaborations from both theoretical and experimental fields.
